Are you an outliner, or are you a pantser?
I am not an outliner, at least in the beginning stages of a story (a novel, especially). However, I tend to begin an outline of scenes as a number are created, so I guess that would make me an after-the-fact outliner. I try to place the scenes in what feels like the correct chapters, give a one-line description of the scene, and tell the viewpoint character plus any other characters in the scene.
How do you work?
